The Masters course is comprised of 3 modules:

Environmental Architecture, Urban Ecology and the Thesis.

The non-thesis modules are made up of two components, each of which is concluded in a student report that is submitted for assessment.  Only once all four components are completed can the student progress to the thesis.

The modules aim to develop two entirely different methodologies for understanding the environment, one rational the other phenomonoligical: the ‘ying’ and ‘yang’ of urban epistemology.  The thesis is the opportunity to bring these methodologies together, in order to grasp and respond to the urban environment in a way that is entirely unique to each student.
