Our relationship with Article 25 has developed over several cycles of student projects, where field techniques for use in disaster or development scenarios are designed and tested by MAASD students.  In 2012, based on site test data, students developed a technique for constructing foundations in wet, sandy conditions for a construction project in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Article 25 is an operational UK registered charity that designs, builds, and manages projects to provide better shelter wherever there is disaster, poverty, or need. They bring experienced, field-appropriate professional skills and academically rigorous research findings to NGOs who want to build.
